More than 600 volunteers are actively engaged in carrying out the IOCP mission. Current Volunteer Opportunities (PDF)

To become a volunteer, print and fill out the Volunteer Application Form (PDF) and mail to:

Once we receive and review your application, you will be invited in for an interview.

Volunteers help in a variety of ways:

  • Work in the food shelf
  • Arrange and provide medical rides
  • Provide support services to families living in CONECT neighborhoods
  • Coordinate back-to-school, adopt-a-family, and other short-term projects
  • Spearhead fundraisers
  • Lend administrative support
  • Serve on the board of directors
  • Lead various committees
