Coummunity Conversation about Local Poverty

Monday, Feb. 27, 6:30-8:30 p.m., IOCP

Episcopal Community Services (ECS) and IOCP are co-hosting a one-night education event about poverty in our backyard. Everyone in the community is invited to join us for this free forum, held in the new IOCP Family Service and Learning Center’s Shannon Hall. IOCP Executive Director LaDonna Hoy and ECS Executive Director John Estrem will speak, and then dialogue with us on what poverty in the suburbs looks like, why it’s on the rise, and how you can help.

Sorry, space at this event is filled. We will make a videotape of the conversation available on our web site by mid-March.

Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners responds to emergency needs, moves families toward stability and positive change, and engages volunteers and partners in service, leadership, and capacity building.
