CfKI Scholarships Receive Grotto Foundation Support

The Grotto Foundation has awarded the Caring for Kids Initiative a $25,000 grant, to be used for early childhood education scholarships. The funds will target 3- and 4-year-olds to ensure kindergarten readiness.

“We are truly grateful for the foundation’s support,” said program director Brenda Heim. “For three years Grotto Foundation has supported CfKI because we are making a difference. This past year, all of our scholarship recipients entering Wayzata Schools’ kindergarten were deemed prepared for kindergarten.”
