Community Engagement Coordinator Joins Staff

A recent graduate of the University of Minnesota, Liz Erstad was interested in IOCP because of its breadth of programming. “The organization draws on so many different areas, and strong partnerships are already established,” she said.

Erstad is especially excited to be part of IOCP’s new focus on community engagement. “I’m really looking forward to helping match a person’s skills and passions with the volunteer needs of the organization,” she added. “The community will benefit from these meaningful, personal partnerships.”

Originally from Worthington, Minnesota, Erstad worked with Campfire USA’s after-school programs at affordable housing sites, and spent three years in youth programming with the YMCA.
