Give to the Max Day Yields Windfall

November 3, 2009

The one-day Give to the Max promotion yielded $48,000 in donations from 99 individuals, putting IOCP in the top 50 nonprofits for funds raised. The proceeds will go toward this year’s Sleep Out Campaign. “We are absolutely thrilled by the response to this new giving tool,” said Jill Kohler, IOCP development director. “It truly reflects this community’s willingness to step up during a special appeal.”

GiveMn.org is a new website that allows Minnesotans to research the 36,000-plus state charities, religious organizations, and nonprofits and make an online donation. The goal of the new tool is to give nonprofits like IOCP a boost in giving and donors information to make informed choices.

To check out IOCP, go to GiveMN.org. Under “Find a Nonprofit,” type in Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners.
