Plymouth 15-year-old Peter Larson, the “sleep out kid,” received the Good Samaritan Award at the United Methodist Men’s annual conference in Nashville. The award, given to one individual each year, acknowledged Peter’s efforts to help raise funds and awareness for families IOCP serves who need assistance with housing.

Since Peter began sleeping out on IOCP’s behalf 10 years ago, he has spent 200 nights outside and raised $185,000.
