WHO WE SERVE

We provide services in food, case management, emergency financial assistance, employment services, and child care resources to those residing in our service area, which includes:

  • Plymouth (west of 494)
  • Hamel
  • Long Lake
  • Medicine Lake
  • Medina
  • Minnetonka Beach
  • Orono
  • Wayzata
  • Four housing communities near Medicine Lake

WHAT WE OFFER

Employment Services provides multiple pathways to support job seekers to achieve education and employment goals. Drop-in assistance, intense one-on-one work and multi-year support are available to achieve financial goals. Employment services include 

  • Resume/cover letter assistance
  • Practice interviews
  • Access to onsite computer lab for job search assistance & computer skill instruction
  • Connections to local employers and training partners
  • Personal shoppers for professional attire and accessories
  • Employment coaching and career assessments
  • Support to address challenges to finding or maintaining employment (e.g. child care, transportation, health care)

Onsite Computer Lab

IOCP Computer Lab Calendar - April 2024If you’re an IOCP client, you’re eligible to use our on-site Computer Lab during the open hours noted on our (Current Computer Lab Calendar (April). Stop by at your convenience – no appointment is needed. Employment Services volunteers are available to provide individualized assistance for
