As a supporter of the Holiday Gift Program, your care, kindness and nurturing of local families and kids changes lives. The lean budgets of the families we see often don’t stretch far enough for holiday gift giving. For them, holidays can often bring more anxiety than celebration. Last year, 2,647 people celebrated a happier holiday thanks to you. Let’s rally together and do it again!
Our Holiday Gift Program has matched over 500 families with community sponsors who will purchase gifts for families this holiday season. However, we know many additional families will come to us in November and December who are equally in need of holiday support. We expect another 200 families requesting holiday support in the weeks to come. We invite you to make a financial gift to support this effort (select Holiday Gift in the drop down menu) or donate gift cards in $10 or $20 increments to stores like Target, Kohl’s, Cub, or Holiday Gas. Your donations will ensure that all families in our community have a joyful and hopeful holiday season.
We need your help to pull off this community effort! Please consider giving a few hours of your time on Dec. 8-10. Holiday Gift Program volunteer shifts fill up quickly, so sign up and invite a friend! Dec. 8-9: Gift Drop Off Volunteer Shifts. Dec. 10: Gift Pickup Volunteer Shifts
