Community Education

Wayzata Community Education is an on-site partner at IOCP’s new Plymouth location and represents the learning component to the partnership. Community Education offers the following opportunities at the IOCP location.

Adult Basic Education

Adult Basic Education at IOCP provides GED diploma preparation and basic reading, writing, and math skill improvement. Classes are offered Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-noon and 1-3 p.m. Child care and transportation are available. For more information, contact Cheryl Lubinski or (763) 745-6034.

Adult Enrichment

Adult Enrichment provides classes, trips, entertainment, and learning opportunities for older adults. Examples of Adult Enrichment topics include fitness, health, money management, and computer education. Adult Enrichment will be held on Friday at IOCP, Suite 200A. Trip and entertainment opportunities occur as scheduled.

Peppermint Fence West

A licensed and accredited program of Wayzata Public Schools Community Education, Peppermint Fence preschool is a community preschool serving 4- and 5-year-olds and also provides early learning while parents attend adult classes at IOCP. For more information, contact Joyce or call (763) 745-5294.
