The resale store at Interfaith Outreach is getting a new name and a new look. Five years ago, ReSale 101 began as a way to involve the local community in donating new or gently used, high-quality clothing and household goods while raising funds for programs at Interfaith Outreach. The new name “Resale Select” was chosen to better reflect the quality level of the merchandise and the process of hand-selecting the best donations to be sold in the store. The interior of the store is set up with attractive displays, and volunteers add warmth and knowledge to provide a pleasant shopping experience. Merchandise sold at Resale Select is typically the quality you would pass along to a friend. At Resale Select you can do good by donating, feel good by volunteering and look good by shopping our quality merchandise. It’s a great way to support Interfaith Outreach and local families.
The new logo is contemporary, clean and fresh. The imagery suggests a quality-oriented retail store that is fun to shop. The Resale Select store experience can also be a gateway to understanding Interfaith Outreach. Over $126,000 in Resale gift cards have been provided to Interfaith Outreach to help struggling families. Since the store opened in 2011, close to 1,400 friends and neighbors have volunteered with the store, contributing over 90,000 volunteer hours. Thanks to them, the store’s proceeds can benefit Interfaith Outreach and the families it serves.
