To our surprise, my husband and I turned 60 this past year. We’re grateful to be around, of course, but a bit bemused to realize that, given the odds, we have more time behind us than ahead of us.
The occasion provided the impetus to update our will. Our kids are grown and safely launched, and including IOCP in our will was an easy choice.
While the rest of the world sometimes seems so fractured and at odds with each other, IOCP provides the vision of hope for what communities can do when they come together for good.
We believe to our core in the vision of IOCP, and that the community we build together will be more for the sharing and less for the withholding of the gifts of each person. Including IOCP in our will is our small attempt to ensure that this vision continues for the community we love.
