Housing
IOCP assisted 541 households in 2009-10 with housing-related needs. In addition, our CONECT program serves more than 800 households a year.
Emergency Assistance
Helps families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless with emergency shelter, rent or mortgage payments, damage deposits, moving expenses, and foreclosure prevention.
Project Success
Combines intensive case management and other support services (tenant training, budgeting and financial training, and group support), to help families move beyond the need for rent support within two years.
CONECT (Community Organizations Networking Compassionately Together)
Offers onsite services at 8 multi-unit apartment neighborhoods in Plymouth, connecting families with community resources, working with residents to build healthy communities, and supporting youth through Homework Club, summer camp, and other recreation and enrichment programs. CONECT services are available for residents of Kimberly Meadows, Lakeview Commons, Plymouth Colony, Regency Point, Shenandoah Woods, Stone Creek, Vicksburg Commons, and Willow Woods Estates. Services vary by site.
Homeless Case Management
Provides affordable housing and in-home services for formerly homeless families to help them achieve long-term housing and family stability. Eligible families are notified when space is available.
