Special Programs
Throughout the year IOCP staff and volunteers coordinate several special programs:
Back to School
The Back-to-School program provides required school supplies to help kids K–12 have a strong start to the school year. For details, call (952) 472-3426.
Holiday Adopt-a-Family
The Adopt-a-Family program links families requesting holiday gift assistance with sponsors who anonymously provide gifts for family members.
Holiday New Client Program
The Holiday New Client program provides gifts to families who are new to IOCP during the holiday season.
Easter Baskets
IOCP volunteers distribute Easter baskets filled with toys and goodies each spring. Baskets are available to IOCP families with children ages 1–18. No registration required.
Baby Layettes
IOCP provides basic baby supplies to families expecting a newborn. Baskets may include blankets, infant clothes, diapers, and other nursery necessities.
Birthday Shelf
Birthday gifts for children ages 1–18 are available for families served by IOCP. Also available are birthday bags, which contain party favors and all the trimmings for making a child’s birthday special.
