2010 Walk/Run for Kids
Saturday, Sept. 11, 9:15-11 a.m.
 Work with the Co-Chairs to help plan the event. 3 hours per month from now until event.
 Organize a team of 3 or more to attend this event. Excellent opportunity for scouts/faith groups/families.
 Help the morning of the event. 5 hours.

Spring 2011 CfKI Breakfast

 Co-chair the event. Attend monthly planning meetings, choose speakers, send e-mails and save-the-date notices, coordinate with table hosts. 2 hours per week, Feb–April 2011, with additional hours in the weeks prior to the event.
 Help plan the event. Attend planning meetings, help with phone calls and e-mails, and coordinate the recruitment of table hosts. 2 hours per week, with additional hours in the weeks prior to the event.

 Help with data tracking. Using your home computer, compile and update an Excel spreadsheet of attendees (info will be sent to you by the table hosts for the event). E-mailing and phone meetings will be required. 2 hours per week, Feb.–April; about 4 hours per week during last 2 weeks.

General
 Assist with CfKI mailings and various clerical duties.
 Create a scrapbook to track the history of CfKI through the display of invitations to events, annual reports, letters, official documents. 2 hours per month.

Activities with Children
 Help 4- and 5-year-olds with kindergarten readiness skills such as cutting, writing name, letter recognition, etc. Note: will need to sit on low chairs or floor. 1-2 hours per week. Consistent day and time appreciated. Training and program orientation at childcare/preschool provided. Background checks required.
 Provide enrichment activities to 2- through 5-year-olds, including regular visits to read or sing with children or one-time opportunities to share a talent, such as playing a musical instrument, demonstrating a hobby, etc. Training and program orientation at childcare/preschool provided.
