Village Homes

IOCP initiatives to pursue development of multi-unit projects address the growing need for affordable rental units in our service area.

IOCP partnered with Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity to develop Village Homes, two twin homes, in Wayzata. Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity sold two of the units to qualified buyers, and IOCP rents the other two units to families needing long-term housing assistance.

The $850,000 Village Homes project received support from:

• Lipkin Family Foundation, lead development sponsor
• Cargill, cornerstone house sponsor

• Construction volunteers from area churches, businesses, schools, and civic groups
