A note from Executive Director LaDonna Hoy
While, once again, March seems to be ushering in a premature spring, no one is complaining. No matter seasonal unpredictability, this amazing community’s faithful response to what really matters is predictable, in season and out.
Think of it.
In winter, we slept out in the cold so that others could sleep in. The March Prevent Hunger campaign will shore up our food shelf in anticipation of summer’s demand and ramp up services that help people find and keep living wage jobs. More of our littlest kids will be ready for kindergarten this fall, thanks to scholarships to early childhood care and education that set them on the path to success in school and family supports that keep them on that path. Our amazing volunteers continue to make our world go ‘round.
Winter, spring, summer and fall, we’re vigilantly invested in ensuring that all families and kids of our community have a safe, affordable place to call home and a chance to become all they can be.
What is predictable is that, together, we are in the MARCH that really matters.
