Interfaith Outreach has been located at 1605 County Road 101 N, Plymouth, since August 2011. The stars aligned when we completed the successful “Building for Good” fundraising campaign, allowing us to put significant funding toward the 40,000-square-foot building we lovingly call our Family Service & Learning Center. The move to this bigger space has allowed us to serve more and more families over the last seven years. We now work with 2,000 families (6,000 people) and engage 2,000 volunteers in the work we do every year. That expansion of our programs and services was only possible because of the generousity of donors and supporters.
In April, we gathered for a “Burn the Mortgage” celebration and officially marked the day, this spring, when we made our final mortgage payment. Thanks to diligent financial management and the embrace of our remarkable donors, we paid off the mortgage three years early. Now that is something to be proud of – a space we share with our amazing building partners, Wayzata Public Schools and Hennepin County, and the support of an exceedingly generous community that has faith in the work we do. Thank you to everyone who helped us get here and to all those who continue to guide our growth. We are stronger because of you.
