Thanks to everyone who attended the 2018 Great Expectations Breakfast and who is actively engaged in the initiative by donating and volunteering. It’s working! Your investment in staying with all our kids from cradle to career is changing lives — not just for today, but forever. It was wonderful to be with so many dedicated and enthusiastic community members. If you did not have a chance to review the Great Expectations volunteer opportunities or donate at the event, you still have time!
- Please look over our volunteer opportunities and let us know what role interests you.
- If you still want to donate, your gift can help us reach our campaign goal of $260,000. Remember to select “Great Expectations” in the donations categories drop-down field.
- View and tag yourself in photos from the event on Facebook.

Thank you again for attending this year’s Great Expectations Breakfast. It takes a village to raise a child and you are the village – we can not do this without you!
Great Expectations is a collaborative school and community initiative designed to close the cradle-to-career educational opportunity and achievement gap for our kids. An estimated 500 preschool and 1,600 school-age kids need our help. Great Expectations’ anchor partners are Interfaith Outreach and the Wayzata and Orono School Districts.
